The train to Hogwarts exists 🚂

The construction of this viaduct began in January 1897, in October 1898 it was already possible to transport goods along it, and the full opening of the bridge took place on April 1, 1901.

The greatest fame for this building was brought by four films from the Harry Potter series: according to them, the road to Hogwarts lies precisely through the Glenfinnan Viaduct, it is shown how Harry and his friends drive the Hogwarts Express over this bridge, following to the place of their studies and back :)

The best view of the Glenfinnan Viaduct is from the Glenfinnan Viaduct viewpoint on a short walking trail. This is located around a 20-30 minute walk (depending on your speed) from the Glenfinnan Monument on the main road. This is by far the best way to see the Hogwarts Express make its way over the bridge!
