THE TEMPLE OF WAT SAMPHRAN, THE TOWER WRAPPED IN THE COILS OF A DRAGON

Wat Samphran, or Dragon Temple, is a Buddhist temple in Nakhon Pathom province, about 40 km west of Bangkok.

The temple is notable for its 17-story pink cylindrical building with a giant red and green dragon sculpture snaking its entire height.
The inside of the dragon is hollow and contains a spiral staircase, which is dilapidated in places.
The height of Wat Samphran is 80 meters because the Buddha died at the age of 80.
